What is Snapsaver?

Snapsaver is an exclusive, invite only, discount app, allowing users to claim a 50% off discount in hundreds of partnering businesses.

How am I able to be granted full access?

If you have friends already using Snapsaver, reach out to them. You will be prompted to reach out to your friends when you attempt to claim a discount. If you are able to claim a discount, then you already have full access!

How much does it cost?

Each discount will have its cost displayed at the bottom left of the screen. You will be charged this amount via an In-App Purchase each time you claim the discount.

How do I use Snapsaver?

Snapsaver is a location based discount app and will populate your feed with the business offers nearest you.

Tap right to navigate through the business offers once you find the required offer tap the “50% off discount” button to start the discount process.

Pay the in-app purchase arrangement fee if applicable.

#ShareTheLuv with a check-in or add a location sticker to your social media post, show it to the business and return to Snapsaver to have your discount confirmed.

Will my Snapsaver discount cover more that one person?

Snapsaver discounts only apply to the app user. However, you can unlock the app for one friend at the end of each discount process, so choose wisely.

How do I know what exclusions apply?

Each offer has a list of exclusions on the extended info page. You can find this by swiping up on any business offer on your main feed. Exclusions are also listed in the offer summary popup when you press the “50% off discount” button.

Can I get a refund on my discount?

In certain circumstances we may offer a refund in the form of credit on your account. Snapsaver reserve the right to determine these circumstances and if a refund is the most applicable action. If you feel that your circumstance may warrant a refunded credit amount, you can get in touch using the contact form above. We will endeavour to return your message as soon as possible.

How do I pay for my discount on Snapsaver?

You pay for each discount via an In-App Purchase. When prompted you will need to use your in-app purchase payment method you have set up on your phone: finger print ID, password ID or face ID to confirm your purchase.

Why do I have to pay to receive a discount?

Snapsaver charge a nominal administration fee on each discount. There are often some limited free give aways, so keep an eye out and grab them quick. They tend get claimed very quickly.

The merchant did not apply the full discount, what do I do?

If you feel the full discount was not applied to your product or service, we advise you get in touch with us as soon as possible using the form at the top of the page. We will discuss the issue with the merchant and try resolve the issue as quickly as humanly possible. Please provide us with the business name, location and a brief description of what you feel the issue is.

I have to book in advance to claim a discount. What is the process?

N.B. All offers that need to be pre-booked with the business to claim a discount have a blue button. 

Navigate to the relevant business and tap on the blue button. When the offer summary popup appears tap the “Call to book” button. Your phone will automatically call the business. Explain to the merchant that you are a Snapsaver user and proceed to complete your booking.

When you arrive at the location of the business on the day of your booking use the same process to arrive at the offer summary popup but this time tap the “I already have a booking” button then you can complete the rest of the discount process in the normal way.

How do I unlock Snapsaver for myself?

Snapsaver is an invite only community, reach out to your friends on social media to see if anyone has a spare access code. Snapsaver users get awarded one access code to unlock a friend every time they claim a discount.

How do I use Snapsaver to discover offers?

Use the carousel which showcases offers based on your location and is the first screen you will see when you access the app. 

Alternatively use the map view (icon top right of the header bar) which showcases the offers based on your current location and has standard mobile map functionality to explore offers in other areas.

How do I find more specific offers?

You can use the search and/or filter functions located in the header bar. So if you wanted to find a place for after work cocktails on Friday, you could search for Cocktails, and filter the results by Drinks (within Categories) Friday (within Day filter) and 6pm-9pm (within Time filter).

How do I search for a discount in a different location?

You can use the Search by typing in that specific location. Alternatively you can discover offers through the map view which has standard pinch, zoom & navigation functionality to find the area you’re looking for.

How do I find out more information about an offer?

Swipe up on any offer on the Carousel or click the information icon below the 50% discount button

In map view just tap the Offer card at the bottom of the screen.

What is the difference between a Blue and Red discount button?

Offers with Red buttons are walk-in offers which don’t require pre-booking. 

Offers with Blue buttons are Pre-book offers which require you to call to secure a booking over the phone which is part of discount process.

Do I have to pay to claim an offer?

Most offers have a small In-App Purchase arrangement fee attached. The price will differ for each offer and is displayed in the bottom left corner of the offer when viewing on the carousel.

Can I use Snapsaver more than once in a day?

Yes, you can claim as many different discounts as you like per day. 

Some partners may have a limited amount of offers that can be claimed per day, the live availability can be found at the bottom right of the offer on the carousel. 

N.B. Some partners will only allow you to claim their offer once per day.
